“Complexity, confusion, diversity, fragmentation and alienation increasingly characterise our post-modern world. My work... consists of my ideas in a visual form. I investigate my fears, fantasies, desires and secrets in a variety of media while trying to create an illusion, a personal mythology.

It is a personal representation. A number of media exist to evoke individual ideas of my mythology. I act, intervene, remodel, destroy and recreate as an expression between fact and fantasy. A desire to find a truer reality.”

The pieces are open to interpretation allowing the viewer to react according to their personal concept of reality and fantasy. A variety of media is considered appropriate to communicate ideas and consequently the work has the potential to be more evocative and more open to interpretation.

Investigations, trials, experiences of my life, home and work reflect memories and impressions without the need for a philosophical explanation.”
